After World War II, for almost 20 years, the station served as the main railway station in Warsaw and on 14 March 2021 it welcomed the first passengers after a long break in operation. The Warszawa Główna station will eventually take over regional travel from directions including Łódź Fabryczna, Skierniewice, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Piaseczno, Dobieszyn, Łowicz, and Sochaczew, relieving the rest of the capital’s railway stations.
A subsidiary of Trakcja S.A. - Kauno Tiltai Sverige AB concluded a contract with the Swedish town of Skellefteå for construction works, the subject of which is building a new wooden bridge over the Skellefteälven river.
On 11 February 2021, an contract was signed between Trakcja S.A. and the District of Skarżysko-Kamienna, represented by the District Road Authority.
