New road contract in Wielkopolska Province
The consortium of Trakcja PRKiI and AB Kauno Titali belonging to Trakcja Group has won a road contract in Wielkopolska Province worth 52 million PLN. The investment includes complex modernization of a 14-kilometre long section of a provincial road No. 190 between Krajenka and Wysoka.
The task includes replacement of road pavement and construction of new sections together with pedestrian and cyclists paths. The investment also involves reconstruction of crossroads and construction of bus bays and culverts. In order to increase pedestrian safety, islands slowing down vehicular traffic will be built at the entries to municipalities along the modernized road. Additional lights will be installed at the pedestrian crossings together with steel protective barriers along the road.
The whole investment will be implemented within 38 months based on the "design and build" system.
