Trakcja PRKiI Commissioned to Build a Park and Ride Car Park
Trakcja PRKiI has signed a contract of the gross value of 10.7 million PLN for the design and build of a “Park and Ride” type car park, which is to be situated close to the railway station in Nakło nad Notecią. The project entails the construction of a 2350 m2 parking area consisting of 176 parking spaces, 17 spaces for disabled persons and a sheltered parking space for 30 bicycles. The area will also include a bus stop, a parking surveillance building and a multiple toilet building. The facility will be equipped with modern-type LED lighting, sidewalks, bicycle lanes and noise barriers.
The project will also consist of the reconstruction of streets leading to the car park area: the existing carriageways will receive new pavement, exit/entry routes and lighting. New pavements and pedestrian/bicycle lanes will be built. The project will also involve the elimination of any collisions between the road infrastructure and electric, telecommunication, water/sewage and gas utilities.
The project is expected to finish in October 2020.
