Extension of Sitarska Street in Białystok
A consortium consisting of Trakcja PRKiI and PEUiM has been contracted to build the extension of Sitarska Street in Białystok, between its intersections with Kozłowska and Świętokrzyska Streets. The new road section will serve to connect Białostoczek and Antoniuk residential settlements.
The contract covers the construction of two carriageways with two traffic lanes each, noise barriers, bus stop bays with shelters, bicycle lanes and pavements. The contract also covers the construction of utilities such as water supply system, municipal heating system, low and medium voltage electrical network and street lighting.
The assignment will also comprise the construction of a roundabout in the vicinity of Radzymińska street, and an overpass with retaining walls over railway route No. 6 connecting Białystok and the national border. The overhead contact line under the overpass will also be subject to reconstruction, to be performed simultaneously with the road works.
The gross value of the works is approximately 35 million PLN. The task will be carried out in a period of 15 months, commencing upon the handover of the site area to the contractor.
