Construction of a bypass road in the vicinity of Oświęcim

Trakcja PRKiI has signed a contract with the Provincial Road Management Company in Krakow for the construction of a bypass road in Zator. The value of the contract is 13 million zlotys.

The project will include construction of a bypass road, approx. 3 km long and 3.5 m wide, with two traffic lanes. The scope of works will include construction of new intersections, service roads, and roads connecting the bypass road with the existing road network. Also, 4 bridges, 1 overpass, 12 culverts, and guiding facilities for wildlife will be built. The contract also includes construction of a lighting system and a drainage system, as well as installation of road barriers and noise barriers.

The works are to be completed in mid-September 2018.
