Alteration of the tracks in the Bydgoszcz area
Over PLN 41 million (including VAT) is the price of the contract for the alteration of railway line No. 201 in the area of Bydgoszcz.
The refurbishment involves the Nowa Wieś Wielka–Maksymilianowo section with a length of 28 km, where track works will be performed to increase the speed of freight trains to 100 km/h. The works will involve (among other things) the alteration of 9 crossings, adjustment of the existing overhead line equipment and construction of 0.5 km of new overhead line equipment.
The project also involves the dismantling and installation of railway traffic control equipment, electrical power equipment, telecommunication equipment, installation of a drainage system, repair of 5 civil engineering structures and removal of platforms at two passenger halts.
