Energy bank contract
Trakcja PRKiI S.A., being a participant of the Consortium led by Qumak S.A, will provide Energa Operator S.A. with an energy bank with the power of no less than 750 kW. The task will be performed within 22 weeks.
The Consortium will provide, assemble and launch an energy banking system with nominal power of no less than 750kW both ways, and capacity of no less than 1500kWh. In addition, the Consortium will provide technical support and a guarantee for 18 months from delivery. The main goal of the electric energy bank is to collect energy and use it for balancing the energy system and to improve the quality of electric energy. The contract is valued at PLN 8,276,670.00 gross.
Trakcja PRKiI will design and manufacture battery stands and disconnector stations, and arrange the locations of individual devices. Trakcja PRKiI has almost 60 years of experience in designing and manufacturing power switchgears, which constitute an element of power supply systems for railway, tramway and trolleybus lines, as well as other equipment such as sectioning cabins. The Company is successively expanding its activity in the energy industry.
