Trakcja PRKiI has a 6Dg type locomotive
As of the beginning of September modernised locomotive will deliver materials to Wroclaw – Oleśnica railway section that is being renovated.
Trakcja PRKiI S.A. has one of the biggest potential of specialist railway equipment in Poland. At the same time, as a licenced railway carrier, it delivers materials to the site where works are conducted and secures traction service of railway equipment at the building site.
“We are systematically refreshing our potential and increasing our capacity, which, at the same time, is strengthening our position against competition – says Jarosław Tomaszewski, the President of Trakcja PRKiI S.A. We are at a disposal of seven fully capable locomotives that in majority secure our needs in contracts conducted all around the country.”
Trakcja PRKiI S.A. intends to strengthen its position of a leader in railway construction in Poland by actively participating in tenders from new EU perspective, the value of which is estimated at 65 billion zloty.
On the last days of August the company was granted a permit to build technical facilities in Bieńkowice, in Wroclaw area. The building will serve for the purposes of maintaining own equipment and providing specialist repairs for external entities. The total value of investment is estimated at 35 million zloty.
