New road construction contract - Koronowo

Trakcja PRKiI S.A. entered into the contract for road reconstruction in Koronowo - a town in the Kujawy-Pomerania Province. For nearly PLN 5 million, a few fragments of the streets will be refurbished and the modernization of pedestrian and cyclist routes, including at junctions with vehicular traffic, will bring a significant improvement in safety.

The road reconstruction along Paderewskiego Street and Pomianowskiego Street in Koronowo includes: laying of new asphalt pavement within the section of approx. 0.5 km, overlay on two junctions, construction and modernization of walkways and exits to public land and private properties. In addition, two traffic islands with pedestrian refuge will be built and marked with active traffic signs power supplied with solar panels, and a cycling route over 1 km long will be built. The scope of work also provides for the construction of bus bays, installation of warning lights, construction of street lighting on the pedestrian crossing at Paderewskiego Street. Rainwater discharge sewers will be renovated, power and communications infrastructure conflicts will be resolved and the sewerage system will be rebuilt. The gross value of the work to be completed by 31 August 2015 is PLN 5.4 million.

Trakcja PRKiI S.A. pursues a strategy of development of their activity on the road construction market. The agreement mentioned here is the second contract acquired in this segment since the beginning of the year.
