Trakcja Group to upgrade a wastewater treatment plant in Podlasie, Poland
The Narew Community in the region of Podlasie, Poland is going to improve their environmental commitment by upgrading the local wastewater treatment plant. The comprehensive work under the contract will be performed by Dalba - a Trakcja Group company.
The work on upgrading the Narew wastewater treatment plant will take half a year. The facility which has operated since 2003 provides its services to several thousands of customers throughout the community area. The expected scope of work is aimed at modernisation of the treatment process by solutions including the installation of state-of-the-art devices, application of sludge-reducing technologies and preventing sludge from the influence of weather conditions. The facility will also be adapted to receive sewage transported by road from nearby towns and villages. The upgrade of devices is to optimise treatment process costs and reduce the environmental impact. The net value of the works to be performed by mid-June 2015 will be nearly PLN 1.3 million.
Dalba sp. z o.o. is a Trakcja Group member, a direct subsidiary of KaunoTiltai Group of Lithuania, specialised in construction and repair of sewerage, water supply and wastewater treatment systems. The company mainly operates in the region of Podlasie, Poland.
