We have a fourth contract in Łódź

January 30, 2023, Trakcja S.A.  signed a contract with the Municipal Investment Authority in Łódź for the renovation of Szczecińska Street.

The company will rebuild Szczecińska Street on the section from  Aleksandrowska Street to the city border with Konstantynów Łódzki. The nearly 3.5-kilometre section will get a new roadway structure with lighting and greenery planting, three intersections will be rebuilt as roundabouts, increasing safety and capacity on the road and improving the quality of access to the recently opened section of the S14 road. The changes will also include the reconstruction of the bus terminus at  Rojna Street. Municipal bus stops along the renovated Szczecińska Street  will gain new shelters, and the platforms will be adapted for people with visual disabilities.

The value of the task entitled  'Extension/reconstruction of x 'Extension/reconstruction of Szczecińska Street in Łódź on the section from  Aleksandrowska Street to the city boundary in the design and build system' is over PLN 71 million net, and its realisation is planned for 36 months, including the time necessary for design.

Trakcja is already carrying out two tasks for the Municipal Investment Board in Łódź. One is the revitalisation of Wolności Square, the second task concerns the extension of the road and track system in the course of Ogrodowa - Północna Streets and one for the Łódź Infrastructure Company, consisting in the reconstruction of the water supply system in Wolności Square.
