5/2017 - Information on the conclusion of a contract with PKP PLK SA

The Management Board of Trakcja PRKiI S.A. ("the Company”, "the Issuer") hereby announces that the Company, acting as the Consortium Leader,  concluded with PKP PLK S.A. an Agreement for the implementation of construction works in the area of LCS Łowicz – section Sochaczew – Żychlin and section Placencja – Łowicz Główny as part of the project "Works on the railway line E20 at the section Warszawa-Poznań – other works, section Sochaczew-Swarzędz", being implemented under the EU financial instrument "Connecting Europe Facility" (CEF). The planned Issuer's share is net PLN 428.5 million. The works are to be completed within 42 months from the date of the commencement of work.

The Issuer's Management Board has decided to publish this information, as the Issuer's share in the value of the Agreement constitutes an important item in the Issuer's portfolio of contracts to be completed on the railway market and its extension, and affects the maintenance of the Issuer's current and future revenues and results.

Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is an EU financial instrument to support the development of networks in three sectors of: transport, telecommunications and energy. The European Union funds will be used until 2020 for investments related to the construction and modernization of infrastructures in transport, energy and telecommunications.
