37/2009 - Selection of the entity authorised to audit financial statements

The Management Board of Trakcja Polska S.A. ("Company") hereby announces that, in accordance with § 16.7 of the Company’s Articles of Association, on 27 July 2009, the Company’s Supervisory Board decided to select BDO Numerica International Auditors and Consultants sp. z.o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Postępu 12, as the entity authorised to audit financial statements (National Chamber of Statutory Auditors reg. no. 3355) to which the review of the Company’s standalone and consolidated interim financial statements for the first half of 2009, as well as the audit of the Company’s standalone and consolidated annual financial statements for 2009, have been entrusted.

BDO Numerica International Auditors and Consultants sp. z.o.o. is from the BDO Numerica S.A. group. Previously, the Company used the services of BDO Numerica S.A. for auditing the financial statements and the consolidated financial statements for the years 2004 – 2008.

The agreement will be signed for the period of the review of the interim financial statements as at 30 June 2009 and the audit of the Company’s and the Group’s annual financial statements prepared as at 31 December 2009.

The Company’s Supervisory Board selected the entity authorised to audit the financial statements in accordance with the applicable regulations and professional norms.
