16/2009 - The Issuer?s subsidiary, Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych ? 7 S.A., submitted the best price proposal in a tender

The Management Board of Trakcja Polska S.A. (the “Company”) hereby announces that the proposals submitted for an unlimited tender announced by PKP Szybka Kolej Miejska w Trójmieście Sp. z o.o. (“Investor”) for construction works regarding the expansion, modernisation and renovation of the Fast Urban Railway (SKM) station, the approaches to the platform, the track system and the traction network at the Sopot station were opened on 28 April 2009.

The subsidiary, Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych – 7 S.A. (“PRK – 7 S.A.”) submitted a proposal with the lowest price for the fulfilment of the works encompassed by the tender.

Value of the proposal submitted: PLN 11,177,005 net.

Deadline for the completion of the works: 12 months

The criteria for choosing the best proposal in the tender are the proposal price, with a weight of 80%, and the term for completing the works, with a weight of 20%. The Management Board believes that, because PRK – 7 S.A. proposed the lowest price and a deadline of no longer than proposed by others in the tender, the selection of PRK – 7 S.A.’s proposal and the signature of the contract is highly probable.

The Management Board would like to announce that the Investor has a 30-day period for checking the proposals and making the decision on the choice of the best tender proposal.
