15/2009 - The Trakcja Polska consortium submitted the best price proposal in the tender

The Management Board of Trakcja Polska S.A. (the “Company”) announces that the proposals submitted for the tender announced by PKP Polskie Linie kolejowe S.A. (“Investor”) for the fulfilment of works for the task named “Modernisation of the E-65 LCS Ciechanów line; LOT A – Gąsocin and Ciechanów Stations; Lot B – Świercze – Gąsocin and Gąsocin – Ciechanów routes” were opened on 24 April 2009.

The Trakcja Polska consortium consisting of:

§  Trakcja Polska S.A.,

§  Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Kolejowych i Inżynieryjnych S.A.,

§  Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych – 7 S.A.,

§  Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych w Krakowie S.A.,

§  Bombardier Transportation (ZWUS) Polska Sp. z o.o 

submitted a proposal with the lowest price for the fulfilment of the works encompassed by the tender.  

The net proposal value is PLN 429,065,522.89.

Since price is the only criterion for the selection of the proposal in this tender, the Management Board believes that the choice of the Trakcja Polska consortium and the signature of the contract are highly probable.  

The Management Board would like to announce that the Investor has a 90-day period for checking the proposals and making the decision on the choice of the best tender proposal.

Legal grounds:article 56(1)(1) of the Act on the public offering and the conditions for introducing financial instruments into an organised trading system and on listed companies.
