9/2009 - Notification on selecting the winning bid

The Management Board of Trakcja Polska S.A. informs that on 27 March 2009 its subsidiary – Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych – 7 S.A, with its registered office in Warsaw, was notified by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., Regional Division in Gdańsk, that as a result of the assessment of tenders submitted in the public contract awarding procedure, conducted as an open procedure, the tender submitted by the following consortium of companies (“Consortium”) was found to be the most economically advantageous tender:

 

- Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych S.A. (Consortium Representative);

- Andrzej Sawicki (Partner),

 

The above-mentioned tender was submitted in the open procedure for the following works:

„Modernization of the railway line No 223 Czerwonka - Ełk, over a distance of Orzysz - Ełk in km 85.300 + 120.739”.

 

The tender price quoted by the Consortium is PLN 38 066 367,32net.

 

The other economic operators participating in the contract awarding procedure are entitled to file a protest within seven days from when they have become or could have become aware of the circumstances forming the basis for filing a protest. The decision issued in response to the protest may be appealed against to the President of the Public Procurement Office within five days from when the protest was decided on or after the time-limit for deciding on the protest expired. The award handed down in response to the appeal may be complained about, by the parties and participants of the appeal proceedings, to the court within seven days from the day when the award was served.

 

If the choice of the tender submitted by the Consortium is not challenged, a contract will be signed for the performance of the works being the object of the tender, about which Trakcja Polska S.A. will inform in a separate current report.

 

Legal basis: Article 56 section 1(2) of the Law on public offerings and conditions governing the introduction of financial instruments to an organized trading system, and on public companies.
