50/2021 - Information on the conclusion of two relevant agreements by the subsidiary AB Kauno Tiltai for the construction of a physical barrier on the border of the European Union on the territory of Lithuania

The Management Board of the Trakcja S.A. Company (the ”Company”, the ”Issuer”) informs that today two agreements for the ”performance of physical barrier works on the territory of the Republic of Lithuania on the external border of the European Union and related services” (the ”Agreements”) have been bilaterally signed by the Issuer’s subsidiary AB Kauno Tiltai with its registered office in Lithuania, as Leader of the consortium composed of:
- AB Kauno Tiltai – Leader of the Consortium;
- UAB ”Alkesta” – Partner of the Consortium;
(the ”Contracting Party”), and UAB ”EPSO-G” (entity with the participation of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania, the ”Ordering Party”).
According to the content of the Agreements, the Contracting Party has undertaken to perform physical barrier works on the territory of the Republic of Lithuania on the external border of European Union and related services, and also all works and additional services, the necessity of which will become apparent during the performance of the Agreements, according to the construction project prepared by the Contracting Party during the performance of the Agreements.

The total net value of the concluded Agreements is EUR 33 914 635.73 (PLN 159 337 741.59), therein the amount attributable to AB Kauno Tiltai will be EUR 16 957 317.87 (PLN 79 668 870.82). Works being the subject of the Agreements are to be carried out within 9 months from the date of their entry into force.

The remaining terms of the Agreements do not vary from terms commonly used for this type of contracts.

The Management Board of the Issuer has decided to publish this information because the performance of the above-mentioned Agreements represents a significant share in the portfolio of orders carried out by the Trakcja Group and the Issuer’s subsidiary AB Kauno Tiltai and has an impact on the maintenance of current revenues and increase of future revenues and the results of the Trakcja Group and the AB Kauno Tiltai company. The acquired Agreements are also of strategic importance for the safety of the borders of the European Union.
