We will renovate switchgears at the Kabaty substation

April 6, 2023 Trakcja S.A. signed a contract with the Capital City of Warsaw for the design and renovation of DC switchgear at the Kabaty metro station.

The subject of the task includes, among others, the development of technology for replacing switchgears (cabinets), execution of the detailed design and construction works on the facility.
Amongst other things, the works will include installation of 4 cabinets responsible for the busbar disconnectors (SOU) and 7 overhead line switchboards (RST cabinets) - all manufactured by Trakcja. 
The signed contract is the fifth, and this year the second, task concerning works on the stations of line No. 1 of the Warsaw subway, in January the Company undertook works on the A7 Wilanowska substation of a similar scope. The implementation is aimed at the first stage of the modernization of the underground power supply from the side of the A0 main station.

The task is scheduled to take six months to complete.
