Trakcja PRKiI to install telecommunication and control systems for Łódź Fabryczna
Additional work, worth nearly 35 million net, will be performed by Trakcja PRKiI SA at the Łódź Fabryczna station under the contract for the modernization of the Łódź Widzew station.
The modernization of Łódź Widzew included construction of the local control centre for managing the traffic at the station. PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe and Trakcja PRKiI entered into an agreement for the design and construction of telecommunication and IT systems at the Łódź Fabryczna station building and in the access tunnel and station area, and its integration with foreign systems, as a complement to the scope of work originally set out in the contract for the modernization of the Łódź Widzew station concluded in 2011. The net value of the agreement is PLN 34.88 million (gross value PLN 42.9 million). The completion date is August 30th, 2016.
