Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will upgrade the Okęcie – Czachówek railway line

Trakcja PRKiI will perform works on the Warsaw – Radom railway line costing nearly PLN 380 million net. The contract concluded with PKP Polish State Railways provides for a comprehensive upgrade of the Okęcie – Czachówek Południowy section to be completed in 20 months.

"From mid-June, Trakcja Group has entered into contracts worth almost PLN 700 million, systematically rebuilding its contract portfolio. With the new management improving our marketing strategy, we have taken part in subsequent tender procedures with renewed energy. The efforts of our team have been rewarded. We are now waiting for the conclusion of a few other procedures with a total value of nearly PLN 830 million where Trakcja has offered the best prices. As announced previously, we have started to expand to the road market. In the recent tender procedures for S-class roads, we have submitted two bids with the best prices for almost PLN 600 million. If these are successfully concluded, our 2016 contract portfolio will be virtually full," says Jarosław Tomaszewski, Trakcja PRKiI S.A. CEO.

Furthermore, the investment comprises construction of a dozen civil engineering facilities such as 7 viaducts, 4 railway bridges and 16 culverts as well as drainage and power installations.
