The locomotive of the Trakcja PRKiI Company in new painting
On 22 October this year the first SM 42 locomotive in new painting of the Trakcja PRKiI Company went to tracks. The vehicle underwent the general overhaul at the PESA Bydgoszcz Company, where it was painted in new colors and graphics corresponding to the Company logotype. The Trakcja PRKiI S.A. (a public company), which has the status of a railway carrier, owns in total seven diesel locomotives used for transport of bulk materials for construction and revitalizing works of railway tracks and for hauling of trains with special railway equipment used for traction servicing while performing railway surface works.
The Company has one of the largest performance potential in Poland for demands of modernizing and maintenance of railway lines, including among the others a PUN type train for truck reconstruction, carriers, screens and cleaning devices of railway break stone, 7 railway system trains, 7 railway cranes and hundreds of special machines, devices, loaders, diggers and railway cars. This equipment is constantly used for needs of independently realized contracts or rented to other companies from the railway branch.
