Trakcja PRKiI and its Next Power Contract

Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will construct a new transmission line between Przemyśl and Radymno in the Podkarpackie Province. The 110 kV power line will supply power to the Korczowa Logistics Park and enable a series of new consumers to be connected and also reduce power transmission losses.

Trakcja PRKiI and PGE Dystrybucja S.A. concluded a contract for the construction of a transmission line. The contract provides for the construction of the 110 kV line with the length of 14 km in the Przemyśl-Radymno section. The main scope of works includes the construction of 54 pylons with the height of between 20 and 40 metres on piled foundations and the installation of 48 km of operating cables for the transmission network and 15 km of a fibre optic line with connection points to the Przemyśl station and the Radymno station.

The project will provide for consumers with higher connection capacity to be connected, any power transmission losses to be reduced and also parameters of the supplied power to be improved. The line will also allow for the Passenger Service Points to be supplied with power along the motorway constructed in Korczowa and also the two wind turbines with the total capacity of 6 MW, which are under construction in the region, to be connected thereto. The consortium partner of Trakcja PRKiI S.A. in the consortium which performs this contract with the net value of nearly PLN 9.4 million is Zakład Wykonawstwa Sieci Elektrycznych Białystok.

This is yet another power contract of Trakcja PRKiI. Currently, a 110 kV transmission line with the length of approximately 24 km in the Przasnysz-Chorzele section (the northern part of Mazowsze) and the net value of PLN 15.6 million is almost completed. A video on the implementation of this project is available on the YouTube channel of the Trakcja Group at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjZvPdaaFJM&feature=youtu.be .
