Trakcja Group to repair roads in Białystok area
Maintenance and repair of roads in Podlasie between 2014 and 2016 will carried out by PEUiM sp. z o.o. from the Trakcja Group. The company won a tender announced by a GDDKiA branch in Białystok and signed a contract with the customer on Monday, 11 August.
The scope of the works will encompass repair of roads in several dozens locations in Podlasie. The works will include, among other things, milling of damaged asphalt surfaces and laying new ones, replacement of kerbstones, making up and regulation of sewer drains as well as making up of hard shoulders, shaping and reinforcement of escarpments and restoring ditches. PEUiM’s PLN 6.2m net bid was the best among the five bids made in the tender proceedings.
PEUiM is an entity specialising in comprehensive construction and repair of streets, roads and supporting infrastructure. The company also has its own bituminous mass manufacturing facility serving both internal and external customers. In 2011, as a leader of a consortium, the company carried out the largest road investment in Białystok – the repair of Generała Maczka street worth PLN 160m.
