Reconstruction of intersection in Klaipeda

On June 4, 2020, Kauno Tiltai – a Lithuanian company from the Trakcja Group – concluded a contract with the city of Klaipeda for the reconstruction of a roundabout at the intersection of Baltijos street, Silutes street and Wileńska street.

The contract, worth approximately PLN 122 million, includes the design and construction of two viaducts connecting the city with the port, construction of underground pedestrian crossings, pavements and bicycle paths within the roundabout, as well as reconstruction of heating networks. New lighting and elements of street furniture will be installed.

The investment is of key importance for improving the capacity of entry into the port city.

The beginning of work is scheduled for autumn. All works will be completed within 30 months.
