Trakcja PRKiI wins road contract in Warsaw
Trakcja PRKiI has signed a contract worth nearly PLN 11 million gross for the reconstruction of the communication system at the intersection of Grójecka street with Harfowa and Racławicka streets in the Warsaw district of Ochota. The investment includes the replacement of the road surface along with the reconstruction of the tram track and underground infrastructure within the intersection. In addition, a U-turn lane will be created at the head of Grójecka street to the north. Sidewalks, bicycle paths and bus stops will be built, along with the installation of new lighting and traffic lights.
All works will be completed within 10 months from the date of signing the contract.
The purpose of the investment is to increase the safety of traffic users, mainly pedestrians and cyclists. The intersection of Grójecka street with Racławicka and Harfowa streets has been a blackspot on the capital's road map for years.
