Renovation of Białystok – Supraśl Road Commences
Starting from 23 July, a consortium of contractors, led by Trakcja PRKiI S.A., begins the renovation of the voivodship category road No. 676 between Białystok – Supraśl. Valued at almost 99 million PLN net, the project entails the development of the existing road to a road with two traffic lanes in each direction between Białystok and the intersection in Nowodworce, and the extension of the width of the Supraśl-bound carriageway to 7 m. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a by-pass of Ogrodniczki and an overbridge in Krasne. Numerous infrastructural objects will be built in the route of the renovated road, such as culverts, animal crossings and integrated crossings. The project also encompasses the construction of sidewalks, bicycle paths, bus bays and noise barriers. The planned works will require the reconstruction of existing gas, electric power, telecom and water/sewage utilities that collide with the renovated infrastructure.
The consortium partners include PEUiM sp. z o.o. oraz AB Kauno Tiltai, owned by the Trakcja Group, as well as companies from the Unibep Group.
The entire project is to be finished by the end of July 2018.
